Maker of original Handcrafted Furniture, Home-wares & Jewelry. Each piece is made by Silvie with great attention to detail in her studio in the heart of downtown Toronto, Ontario. Silvie works in collaboration with her clients crafting a trust throughout the build process allowing each piece to evolve with purpose and beauty using locally sourced woods and zero or low VOC hand rubbed finishes.
Owned and operated by Aaron & Corné, a husband and wife team that perfectly complement one another in what they do and make.
Both with an eye for design and detail, each of their pieces are carefully handcrafted. From live edge charcuterie boards that are silky smooth to the look and touch, to one of a kind furniture items made from sustainable wood this couple is an artisan machine.
Inspired by the natural beauty of the wood they work with, Aaron & Corné often are not entirely sure what the finished item will look like as it comes to life under their hands, but I can vouch that every piece is exceptional.
Under their brand, a portion of the proceeds from each piece of furniture they sell goes to reforestation on a worldwide scale. Partnering with a not for profit called One Tree Planted they have already planted thousands of trees right across the world, including where the recent fires of Australia devastated the forests and wildlife. The warmth and beauty of a handmade wood product is everlasting. Under Arisan Woods, they hope to do the same for natures forests.
